Clearwater Florida To Fort Myers
Florida Attractions outside the norm? N Theme Parks!?

Hello. We have been in Florida many times and have done the theme parks usual. We would like to visit a different place and a different vacation experience this time. We have made Clearwater, Daytona, Cocoa Beach, Fort Myers, Sanibel, the Keys, Miami Beach wise, our favorites being Clearwater and Sanibel. We would like to visit somewhere new. I would like to see the manatees. Where are they and are on May or it is out of season? We also love to Winter Park and that is beautiful and picturesque. Is there a similar place? We would like to explore the North Florida also as we have much further south. Suggestions and ideas are welcome. Thanks for your help.

If you're looking for something like Winter Park, not far from Orlando Mount Dora is very similar to the strange sensation of Winter Park. http://www.mountdora.com and http://www.mtdora.org/ In northern Florida, I love St. Augustine, you can explore the fort and beautiful old buildings to explore, plus the beach is not far. There are some great hotels there are old houses and camps on the beach if that's more your style. For more information about St. Augustine, check out http://www.oldcity.com/ It might be hard to see manatees wild in May, which normally come in the natural springs in the winter – November to March. For more information on manatees in general, visit http://www.savethemanatee.org/places.htm http://www.savethemanatee.org/ For specific information visualization. I like Homossassa Springs Wildlife State Park located in Homosassa, FL (75 miles north of Tampa), 352-628-5343 http://www.HomosassaSprings.org
