| No CommentA Clearwater man was hurt when he fell off a boat which then ran over him.
Three people were on board a 17-foot boat near John’s Pass when a steering cable snapped and the pilot lost control.
The boat abruptly turned right, and Thomas Demaree, 65, was thrown into Boca Ciega Bay.
The boat continued on, then made a 360-turn, then came back and ran over him.
Demaree was taken to Bayfront Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The other two people on the boat were not hurt.
